Well...I'm okay, though Gryffindor Tower isn't. According to what everyone's been saying, all those roars and stuff was from dragons...I never actually saw them, but I suppose it makes sense... ...I think I won't tell Mom and Dad about this, Dad would panic and Ami would be wanting to come to Hogwarts to see them herself if she knew.

Um...thank you, Yuuki, for finding Ran, Miki and Suu. Though I really wish you hadn't picked me up like that. Alfred, I have your kitten with me still, you can take her when you want, I guess.

Just when I barely got over the LAST weirdness the school dished out, everyone seems to be acting weird again! At least I'm not a part of it like last time. Having to sing in front of everyone, how embarrassiiiiing! What is it this time? Amnesia? Confusion?

Whatever it is, apparently it had something to do with dinner last night. Now I'm glad I got lost in the halls and missed dinner.

I passed the Defense Against the Dark Arts exam though! I really, really passed it! Even the practical part! ...I'm glad I got good marks on the Dark Arts midterm, at least. One less thing to have to worry about.

W-what's up with all of these ghosts? Having to be so much more active just because it's Halloween...it's perfectly stupid. And can't this school get normal decorations? My Halloween costume arrived...I wouldn't go to the masquerade at all, but since everyone else seems to be going on about it, I should see how parties are done in this school. Kaname's going too...

...Kaname seems to be upset right now. I asked if I could help, but he hasn't told me anything except that he had a bad dream. Part of me does really wish I could help somehow...but if it has to do with the magical world, I don't know how much I could help...

Some weird owl fell into my dinner plate too, and had a package with my name on it. It had a gold lock inside, and had a note attached.

This is the Humpty Lock. It's a magical item, one I feel you would be best to have. Take care of it, and good luck.

It wasn't signed, and I didn't recognize the owl it didn't stick around once I had the letter in my hands. I've never heard of a "Humpty Lock" in class, but...I suppose I don't know much about the magical world yet, really. Maybe I can look it up in my textbooks later. What does this person mean by "good luck", anyway...?
